Can we renew Open Work Permit

I am on Open work permit holder ( currently has a full time job ) accompanied by my husband who currently graduated (1 yrs PG diploma). He is going to apply for PGWP and can i apply along side ??? if i do so, is there anyway that i can get a Open work permit extension or will my work permit becomes a closed one ??????

Your husband will need to secure a full time job before you will be able to extend your open work permit.

If you want to change your work permit to a closed work permit the your employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA.

Otherwise you will need to stop working when your current open work permit expires.

Your husband needs not only a full time job but it also has to be high skilled (NOC 0, A or B) in order for you to get an open work permit based on his PGWP.
