Hi,

Does any one face a case were visa office did a mistake with his file number?
As I got e mail from my visa office for required documents but they used file number different from the
One they sent to me before

Can this happened? ??

Yes, sometimes it happens. During my application process in 2007, the visa office made a serious mistake which caused me a delay of 11 months for visa issue.

Being humans yes they can commit a mistake.

Faisal

thank you

But what can I do in this case?

I send them an e mail today but what if no response from them " as usual "

is their another way I can send an urgent query to Visa office?

Check your ECAS using your first file number. If the ECAS shows your date of application, name and address, then it is your correct file number. Submit the additional documents to visa office, quoting that file number. Also make a note on the covering letter that a wrong file number was used on the visa office letter dated ........... attaching a copy of it.

thanks,

I ve checked the e case and its ok with the file number which I recived before and the one mentioned in my Medical request,

but when I recieved an e mail from PVO regarding documents for my baby they used the below as file number

FILE N° VF / B------------ - B--------------

first one is the correct one and the second I dont know from where it comes ( may be its my old file number I need to check that )

but in general does visa offices send file number like the above format ( two numbers ) and is it like sub file for my baby or my wife?

Yes..this can happen..But you MUST clarify from your side just to avoid confusion!

ALL THE BEST!
