The prerequisite for express entry states that you need to have one year of continuous work in the same role. I read somewhere that if the role is the same NOC (occupation code) or similar it would be okay. I am currently in an occupation with NOC 1111 but I am looking to switch to another role within the same company with NOC 1112. If I were to switch to a role of a different but similar NOC (in the same company) would this still count towards this express entry prerequisite if the time worked equals to a year and is continuous? Hoping someone will be able to confirm this for me.
