Can TFW attend online university?

Hello everyone.

I have been living in Canada about 8 months now and have saved up some money. Im would like to attend Athabasca University online but I don't know if this is allowed. I am only allowed to work and not attend school. Does this count as attending school? Any advise would be greatly appreciate it.

I contacted the school and it turns out you do need a visa to attend this online school. Oh well.
