Can RAMQ be renewed from BOWP?

Hi, I am a CEC applicant and currently residing in Montreal. I've applied for BOWP in April and expected to have it in June. It recently came to my knowledge is that RAMQ won't renew my health insurance card with this type of work permit without CSQ. I am personally fine with not being covered by this. However I have two newborn babies. I cannot afford they are not being covered by health insurance.

So, is it true that RAMQ will not renew health insurance without CSQ under BOWP? If so, is there another private insurance companies that can cover doctor visits etc?

Yes without CSQ u will not get RAMQ.

I have the same problem.
U need to get a private insurance, which is like a travel insurance.

U can count on costs starting at 100$ per month ...
