Can Passport Submission be delayed after PPR?

Hello all,

AOR - July 4th, 2018
PPR - September 6th, 2018

Could anyone please suggest a way to postpone my passport submission or change the office? I am in the US currently and need to travel abroad for work. I will require my passport and can collect my passport in either India or UAE. What is the best way to communicate this to IRCC and what would be the best solution in such a case?

you can raise a cse through webform and ask them to change your visa office to new delhi or abu dhabi and explain the reason why.

Did you tell ask them for extension? If not ask them again explaining the reason.

Hi, sorry if I was not clear. They gave me an extension by 30 days. However, I need some more as I do not have access to my passport. Is it advisable to ask fora second time?

Yes but provide enough documentation to show why you still can’t send passports.

Hi, I sent them an email with additional and adequate documentation. I have not received any reply yet. The deadline for passport submission is 02 November. What should be my next steps?

When did you send them? Normally they take 20 says to respond.

I sent them an e-mail on the 20th of October. I agree they take time, but what if I miss the deadline?

You have to wait. Most likely they will extend again.

Hi Navin, They extended and our account was updated today after we submitted our passports last week in Abu Dhabi. The application is approved. Thank you for all the help.
