Hi, my husband is asking me to contact our MP. At the moment, I'm in Canada with him. I'm the PA. The question is, can the PA contact an MP? He claims I'm the one who should be contacting him. We submitted our outland application mid December and have not heard anything from Cic since last May.
Thank you.
He is correct. You need to be the one who contacts your MP. You would be better served to request GCMS notes for your file, as you haven't really exceeded the posted processing times. They will give you the VO notes so you can see exactly what is happening with your application. Your MP can only enquire on your behalf. He can't do anything to interfere or expedite the process.
