I am currently living in Ontario and my p.r application is under processing. I was planning on taking a vacation to Philippines for 10 days in sept end. I do have a valid work permit and visa till 2019 and I am currently employed.
While I was asking around I received different comments like :-
1. Traveling outside Canada for vacation can have negative impact on your residency application
2. Depending on which country you travel (in my case Philippines) can have negative impact on your residency application
Is that true??? I know it's a dumb question and deep down I might know the answer but I wanted to ask professionals for clearification
P.S. I am not from Philippines originally so I will not fall under the category of traveling to my own home country
Thank you
Regard

Its already been more than 2 weeks they got my passport and i need to go cause my sister will undergo 50/50 chances of surviving from kidney transplant... please give me some advice... thank you so much
^ 3 weeks That's quite long for PPR, though I don't know the process in Philippines VO is somehow different from CPC-Ottawa. It took 3 days from Passport arriving at Ottawa to CPC releasing CoPR. Maybe you want to give them a call
