Dear,
I took out a 6 month contract for CAD 200/-. ( Most of the UPS Mailbox Stores in Montreal will quote around that amount plus or minus CAD 20 ).
About recommendation of UPS Store, I can't say much because I used the one which was next to my Hotel Apartment on Rue.St Denis, Montreal.
The problem with the Store I used is that they are operated by Chinese Immigrants and they have difficulty coping with the English Communication;
however, they are honest and straightforward people. So it depends on where you are gonna stay. Some UPS stores the mailboxes are all booked.
You have to goto http://www.theupsstore.ca/ and communicate with those UPS stores around which you are gonna stay during your visit/Landing.
and then choose the one matching your expectations. Most of them are professional, I guess.
The cost varies by store, so you’d have to check with each store for a quote. Personally, it cost me CAD200 for a year’s rental. It could have been lower as I was charged an additional fee for each additional person that’d be receiving mail through the box (family members).
Hi,
Actually if you check the UPS site they say the address you get is a residential address not a P.O box number. I suggest you go to the site and locate a store within your preferred Province/city and drop them an email inquiry. The site gives you contact info for each store. I'm sure they'll give any info you need.
I rented a UPS mailbox for $20 when I did a soft-landing in Feb-2017 for a week. I followed up with the UPS store through email (you will get it online or can check with the store) when it was mailed out and paid them the fee to mail it to me.
