Yes, she can.
It will be challenging though as you have to prove you have no reason to stay long term and your wife being a PR shows exactly the opposite.
You can certainly apply for a visitor visa (you would apply for the visitor visa yourself - your wife wouldn't sponsor you). Unfortunately the chances of refusal are quite high due to the fact you have a Canadian citizen spouse and CIC will suspect you have plans on remaining in Canada long term. However you can certainly try. You should include as much evidence as possible that you have strong ties to your home country.
