Can my spouse come along with me to Canada if i get the student visa ??

i am thinking of doing a professional/master course from Canada but i need to know if there is any possibility that i can take my spouse and kid along with me to Canada. I have seen on few websites that spouse of the student visa holder gets the open the work visa. Please guide me if anyone has gone through the similar situation. I also need to know if my spouse can apply for the visa at the same time when i apply for the student visa or if there is any other criteria/process.

Yes you can. It's better to apply as separate application after you get your visa. It's safe and quick. Your spouse can apply for SOWP or Visit visa
