Currently our PR is under processing. Due to some family emergency, my wife and kids have to travel to India and they have plan to stay 5 months. I have few doubts and Pleasehelp me on this
1) let me know whether staying so long will effect PR processing in anyway?
2) Do I have to get her Indian PCC again once they are back?
3) Do I have to inform IRCC about her and kids travel?
Note : We are inland CEC applicant with family. Also , we have valid work permit until mid of 2023.
No to all. However if they’re staying for 5 months, it can be tricky if your application is approved while they’re outside. All temporary visas will no longer be valid once COPR is issued. They have to apply for PRTD or wait for PR card in order to return to Canada. So plan accordingly.
