Can medical updates be so late?

My spouse's medical exam was sent from the hospital to the CIC 8 months ago. This one checked with the doctor.
However, it has been more than six months since that, but no updates to the medical results are seen.

The last phrase I see is "We sent you medical instructions on January 1, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

If they have received medical results, there is no reason why they will not be updated for so long.
Is this common?
Is there a sudden request for an interview after there is no update for such a long time?

"Your application is still processing." Their answer was this, and they didn't talk about the medical results.
I just wondered if it arrived well, but couldn't hear the answer.

I don’t know. I would give them a call to make sure they received medical.
What’s on gckey? When I passed my medical around 2-4 weeks after it updated on ecas to: medical results have been received.
