Can me and my wife apply using two different applications?

Friends, I am not sure whether my code 2171 (Computer consultant) will get full by the time my IELTS score arrives (15 Nov). My wife can apply under 2172 (database analyst) but we are not sure whether she will pass or not because she doesn't have a computer degree.


So to increase our chances, can we both apply two different applications and list each other as spouse. So if even one of us is accepted, we both will get through.
