Can letter of employment serve as employment record as well?

Hello experts, I am trying to understand the difference between letter of employment and employment record as their contents seem to overlap fully e.g. duration of work, conditions, payscale, responsibilities.

The letter of employment I have contains sufficient information to be called employment record, so I'm wondering what else should I add to make it look different.

I'm also little surprised that the upload documents section doesn't ask for proof of work permit, if it necessary to supply this?

They are not asking for your work permit as you're providing you UCI number.
