As mentioned in question, can international student open a restaurant with a work permit? or I must find a Canadian Partner to open the restaurant. Just be clear, the aim is not to get the immigration, and it is just a practice for myself.

Typically you need a partner who is a Canadian citizen or PR to open a business. Best option is to speak with a lawyer.
