Can international student can change the institute after arriving in canada.

Hello am international student recently moved in Canada, my semester starts in january but i arrived late in canada and deferred my admission till summers, can anyone can tell me me whether i can change my university or not.......the condition on my study permit is attendance in college or university specified by immigration officer.

Yes, you can transfer to a another college or university without getting a new study permit. Except Quebec.

Thanks for your very kind reply but on my study permit its say institute mcmaster university and in conditions it says attendance at university or college specified by immigration officer. WhAT DOES THIS MEAN.

Thanks Pm for you information, can you please tell me that iarrived in canada in mcmatr university i didnt attend that university now want to take admission in other university can i do that on my old study permit.
