Hi, I am in a bit complicated and am hoping to get your opinions about it.
So I am currently a study permit holder and applied my PR in March of this year and applied open work permit separately this month because I needed to extend my study permit to complete my college when I applied for PR so I had to apply open work permit separately.
and now I am wondering if I could work while waiting for my open work permit accepted.
Another question is related to my passport status. my passport will be expired next year (2020) May and the estimated completion time of my PR is next March. Do you guys think I could renew my passport this year before I get the acceptance letter and update my info?
Thank you so much for your time to read my questions.
I hope these all make sense.
Yes, I am being sponsored by my spouse. my study permit is about to expire so I applied for open work permit separately not with my application and haven't gotten my open work permit yet. I've finished my school this spring but this school is not eligible for post-graduation work permit. it was kind of my fault that I didn't apply for my PR before my study permit was bout to expire. but this is my situation now and am trying to find out what I can do ;-)
