Can i submit passport in Los Angeles though I have mentioned my country of residence as India

Hi,

In the online tourist visa application I have mentioned the country of residence and the country or territory where applying as India but I had to come to Los Angeles due to an emergency and will be here for the next 2 months. Now I got a notification from Canada immigration asking for my passport, can I submit it in the Canada VAC here in LA ? And how long will it take for them to return back my passport ?

Yes, you can. Contact the LA CSC/VAC to confirm that you can submit your passport.

It could take about 15 days to get your passport back
