HI THERE ,
my visa expires in august 2017 and my studies will be completed by the end of April 2017. if i apply for work permit in may 2017, it takes 4 months to get work permit. and by that time my visa will be expires. can i stay in canada till i get work permit even after visa expired ?
Yes - assuming you have applied for your post graduate work permit BEFORE your student permit expires you can stay in Canada while you wait to hear the outcome of your work permit application, and you can even work as you do so. This is called "implied status": http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/validity/implied.asp

But then I'll have around 4 months of fulltime work (while not in class)...
Plus 4 more months in order to wait for PGWP...
Right?
For instance, in Manitoba...
They require only 6 months of full time work experience (in any NOC)...
So.. would I be able to get PR before even entering on PGWP?!?
