Can i start work before studies?

Hey,

My study permit/work permit was approved very late that i could not join classes after month school opened.Since October 2019,i have been seating at home doing nothing until September 2020 when i will start school again because the course has only one year intake.

My question now is can i use my work permit to start 20hrs/week work until September when i will start school again?.In summer time,can i work everyday without working only 20hrs/week?

I would like to get advice from you so that i don`t cross government regulation regarding study permit/work permit condition.Your advice would be highly appreciated.

No, you cannot work at all until you start studying. If you do, you will be working illegally.

No.

You can only start working once you start attending your program full time. It is illegal to start working before you start your studies and this will be a violation of the terms of your study permit.

Thank you for your advice,it means i have to hold on until i start studies in September because this is my first study permit in Canada
