Can I start a business (pizza, small motel etc) as a self-employed person in quebec?. I saw on the quebec web that we need to have atleast $100000 to apply as a self-employed person category.

Does a pizza or subway do well in montreal? any ideas? Is there any one on this forum having a similar idea?

The investment required and category you are referring to is for people who want to come to Canada as self-employed individuals. If you are already in Canada, you dont need a specific amount to start your business.
