My niece came from the Philippines and has been here 5 years on the Live-in care giver Program. She received her open work permit 2 years ago and applied for Permanent Residency then too. Her permanent residency is still being processed and her open work permit is valid until 2015. My wife (her aunt and blood relative), and I are both Canadian Citizens and we are plannig a trip to the Philippines from Feb 28/13 to April 8/13. Her niece, who hasn't seen her children in 5 years, wants to travel with us. Is it possible for her to leave and return with no problems? Her Philippine passport is valid till 2015 and she will be returning to work with the same employer.

1. A letter from the employer, her OWP and a VALID TRV. If she doesn't have a valid TRV she can apply to CPP Ottawa for a new one, takes about 30 days.
