Hi Guys,
I am currently living in Vancouver with valid temporary resident visa & work permit. One of my relatives live in Seattle & I wanted to go there for a week.
So I wanted to know if I can travel to USA with Canadian TRV or Work Permit.
Do I have to get US B1/B2 visa for that purpose ?
Thanks.

Canada and the US are two completely separate countries. A Canadian TRV / work permit is only good for entry to Canada.

Hi,
You will need a visitor visa to enter the US (B1 or ESTA if you are from a visa-exempt country).
Then when you are back into Canada, you can enter as you are legally admissible to the country or you wouldn't have a work visa in the first place.
If you are for some reason on implied status and leave the country, you will lose your status.
