Hi,
Can I give self declaration doc describing my Roles & responsibilities? As my company does not provide any reference letter describing the same.
Please suggest what all docs would I be needing?
Thanks.
You can do that, however to better support the declaration letter, try to include an email from your company or manager denying you a reference letter.

Its better to have at least a letter describing your roles from your manager or colleagues

If you do not get any kind of letter from your HR, manager or colleague, then you can give a notarized Self Declaration printed on a stamp paper. In the past, I know at least of one case where it was accepted and the applicant got PPR. However, please note that this is not a common phenomenon and may not be accepted in all cases, it all depends on the case officer who assesses your file.
Check this thread to see what alternatives applicants resorted to in the absence of a reference letter http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nail-the-challenge-of-getting-reference-letter-from-current-employer-t397796.0.html
