can i get visit visa easily ? Help required

Dear All,

i have already applied for permanent residence and case type is family case and in CAS my status is " In Process".
1st approval letter received in January,2012 and my medical done in DEC,2012 and still awaiting for any good news.

Now please help me if i apply visit visa can embassy issue me visit visa or not ?
if NOT then why ?

They tend not to give out visitor visa to those that applied for permanent residence and it's obvious why. To obtain a Visitor Visa you need to convince the Visa Officer that you will definitely not over-stay and will go back to your country when the visa expires.

If you gave already applied for PR, the Visa Officer will know that you intend to establish yourself in Canada and will think that you are using the visitor visa to get into Canada and stay there even after the visa expires.

To try and convince them you will need solid proof that you will return to your country: buy a return ticket, have a letter form your employer stating that you are only on leave and have to get back to your job, have strong ties with your family (having small children that remain in the country of origin or elderly parents that rely on your help is best), have properties/leases in your country of origin etc.
