My spouse had applied for a work permit and it got approved and got passport stamped. Now i have got an offer letter from a Canadian college. I have following queries:
1. Will i get a study permit for the same?
2. Will i become a dependent visa holder ?
3. Will my duration of student visa be within spouse's work visa duration or can i be more than that?
IF you are applying for a study permit then it is has no tie to your spouse. It is a separate process.
1. Not sure what you mean. You apply for study permit and you may or may not be accepted. You have to show ties to country, career progression, funds etc.
2. No such thing as a dependant visa. You would be applying for a visitor visa. So no you are applying for a study permit.
3. No your study permit is for the duration of your studies.

Spouse has applied for work permit and it is approved and stamped. Now waiting for travel. But since i have got a LOA for a college and i have necessary funds, i am planning to apply for a study permit. Hence i doubt if my study permit fall under dependent visa category and its validity depends on my spouse's work permit.
