Can I get a work permit at Vancouver airport

I just received a positive LMO and a job offer and would like to go Vancouver this weekend to get the work permit.

1. Can this be done - getting work permit at customs
a. how long does it take to apply
b. If not where can I apply to get the work permit
2. What additional items do I need besides the LMO & Job Offer
3. What are the costs of the Work Permit

Note: I am coming from the states (US) so that can help narrow down any check list items for the above questions

hey,

you can apply at the airport too if you have LMO (or without if your situation does not require it). You need all the documents, letters from the employer, insurance, some proof that you have money, the address where you will be staying. I was applying for mine at the airport and got it on the same day. It cost $150 I think (dont remember).
