My question is can I file my application to sponsor my common law partner outside of Canada even if myself and my common law are currently both in Canada?? Just wondering due to the horrendous wait times currently for filing in Canada....is the only difference we would have to go to Trinidad and Tobago if an interview was requested??
Out side Canada processing of spousal sponsorship is faster than inside. You should file the application to CPC Mississauga and choose the out side visa processing office on our application.
Now I guess my real question is...If I file outside of Canada can I do that seeing we are both currently in Canada and if so what are the different process's we will have to go threw...via possible interview etc...would we have to go to Trinidad as that is our office we would file at my fiance/common law is from St.Lucia....
Outland vs inland only refers to where your application is processed, not your physical location at the time of application. So, yes, you can apply outland while in Canada.
Thanks so much! I guess my next question would be...would he like with an inland application receive a open permit (if the extra money is paid) like with inland or would he have to wait for the whole process to be completed??
