Hi, I applied my work permit renewal in Canada and obtained the new work permit. The CIC does not mention anything about the visitor visa so I was assuming that I can enter Canada with visitor visa.
You will still need a visa unless you are from visa exempt country.

The permit clearly states that it cannot be used for re-entry.
