Can I enter Canada on a US B1/B2

I read online the if u hold a valid US B1/B2 visa and are entering from the states u can go to Mexico without a Mexican visa, Does this apply for Canada also????

I have been waiting 42 days now for my TRV and NOTHING starting to get frustrated and I am missing out on many family activites

Canada is a different country than the US so their visa is no good here
if you are from a visa exempt country you don't need one
Mexico grants access cause your country doesn't require a visa to enter the country

I am from Nicaragua and yes Mexico does require a visa unless i am in the US on a b!/B2 already. I know they are different countries i'm trying to find out if Canada follows the same approch.
