I am a computer vision researcher and my job duty can be considered either of the 3 NOC codes: (2173-software engineer, 2174-computer programmer 2133-electrical engineer ). Last year I applied under 2174 and the cap limit became full (my application didn't go through). I am applying again this year with a similar employment letter. Now I feel that I fit more to software engineer (2173). Can I apply under different NOC code for the same job this year? Isn't this generate kind of uncertainty and doubt about my whole application? Please advise. Thanks
