Hi

I want to ask if I can apply for US B1/B2 visa while on a visitor visa in Canada?

Has anybody applied before and succeeded in it? And How?

Oh, nice to hear congratulations. Did you state tourism for US visit as a purpose to visit the US?

Could you follow your Mother-in-Law in US consulate in Vancouver just to help her. I am also in Vancouver and trying to get a US visa for my wife as she is on a Tourist visa in Canada as of now.

yes , we just told the truth as we wanted to take her to the US for a weekend or so.

and you can't follow any applicant while they do the interview , I am pretty sure there are staff that speak a lot of different languages that can help . my mother in law doesn't speak a word of English , and there are staff that speaks mandarin that help here all the way.
