Hi,

I am currently working in Montreal in skilled class on my PGWP that will expire in July 2017. My spouse is also working on a PGWP in skilled class ad her PGWP is valid till Sept. 2018. I have following questions:
  • Am I eligible to apply for a SOWP from July 2017 till Sept. 2018, based on my spouse's PGWP?
  • If yes, can I apply for it from within Canada before my PGWP expires?
  • Is it required to get the marriage certificate attested by the Ministry of External Affairs in India (Our marriage is registered in India) before I can submit it as a proof of our marriage?

P.S: I am still learning french and it seems hard to get a CSQ under PEQ followed by a work permit before July of 2017.
