Hey all,

Been looking at this forum for a while and found some good advice on here. It seems like a lot of people know thier stuff, so I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with a few questions I have.

I have been living In Canada for 4 years on temporary work permits and had to leave as I didn't get a new one in time.

I'm currently back in the UK waiting on an LMO and once this is through I will apply for a TWP and hope to be back in Canada in the new year.

However, I am also planning on applying for Residency under the spousal sponsorship class, most likely making the application out of country. My Canadian partner and I have been in a common law relationship for 3 years or so.

My questions are as follows:

Can I have these two applications in at the same time?

Once I have submitted the out of country application for residency, can I enter Canada to work with a TWP before the application is approved, or do I have to remain out of country for the entire process?

Will the order in which i submit my applications make a difference?

Thanks very much,

I hope you can help!

1. Yes, it is dual intent.
2. Yes.

Thanks very much for your help!

Just to clarify Yes number 2, Does that mean Yes, I can enter Canada on a TWP while the out of country spousal sponsorship application is still in progress?
