Can I apply for ICT visa while my OWP(Spousal) application is in progress

I have a visitor visa to Canada, that was applied along with my husband's ICT work permit application. Then I decided to apply for a OWP after our visa's were approved. But now my company has offered to apply for an ICT visa for me. Is it possible since I have one application in process? We were planning to travel together, and our medical will expire in May, so we need to travel in April. What are my chances of getting any work visa, approved in time?

Your company can certainly apply. We cannot tell you if processing will be done in time.

Is there a good reason to switch to the ICT if you qualify for an OWP? Nothing preventing you from working for your employer in Canada with the OWP.

We thought ICT application is processed faster, as my husband's ICT work permit visa was approved in a few weeks. The OWP application on submission said average time is 18 weeks. Since we wanted to travel in April, looking for the best option that would allow me to work also.
As I understand the ICT application is submitted by the applicant only, and the required details are provided by company. So is it possible for me to apply for this, while I have one application that is already in process.
