Can Hong Kong / China Driving license switch into Canada Driving license ?

I have both Hong Kong and China Driving license, do I need to take extra exam after I landed in Canada? Can I switch to Canada Driving license while I'm still applying my PR but when I am waiting in Canada? Thanks a lot!

Yes, you need to pass the knowledge test to get a Learner's License and then a driving test to get the full license if you hold the out-of-country license for at least 2 years.

I have my driving license for more than 10 years, so you are saying that no matter what I need to take the driving test again???? OMG I cannot just switch?

I know it sucks!. Only some other countries can exchange their out-of-country license.

Different countries have different rules!

Your country has to have an exchange agreement with Canada for you to be able to exchange your license.
