Hi all, as the title says, will the banks be able to receive the credit and debit cards (permanent ones) instead of mailing them to an address? I will be moving to Toronto in a week and will be staying in an Airbnb until I can find something more permanent. I don't want them to send the credit card to an Airbnb. Do all banks have this as an option? Thank you!

Just ask the bank.

I have had this done with one bank (Royal) but it was in context of a rush order. Not sure how hard would be to organize separately.

Okay, will check with the bank once I get there, thank you!

You can ask but they most likely won't. For debit cards yes you can get them at a branch but credit cards will have to be mailed to your (mailing / billing) address.

CIBC said Credit card pick up from the branch would be faster than mailing address.

May depend on each bank, but ours agreed to send credit cards to branch to expedite urgent request.
