Hi,
I'm a computer engineer. I read the NOC description and the nearest one to me is 2133 Electrical and electronics engineers. as I worked for 10 years as a broadcast engineer.
My duties are similar to that of an Electronic Engineer. But I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer.
Can anyone advise me if I am eligible to apply as Electrical and electronics engineers (2133) if I have a degree in Computer Engineering?
Yes, you're absolutely eligible.
Thre's no mandatory requirement for your degree to be relevant to your primary NOC.
Thanks Arika,
Sorry, I didn't get it. ???
It is written in the NOC requirements for 2133:
A bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or in an appropriate related engineering discipline is required.
I don't know if the computer engineering included in this "appropriate related engineering" or not. do you?
