Can a previously rejected student visa app jeopardize family sponsorship?

Hi I have sent my updated background check to NDVO with a cover letter stating it was an error from my side while understanding the question,I haven't recieved the file number yet from New Delhi, as second stage processing not started yet.
Is it alrite that I informed them or still they will take it as misrepresentation.

Usually NDVO will not acknowledge by sending you any email/mail. They will update your file by having it on their internal notes. Ask for GCMS notes after 5-6 months.

Secondly, one can only assume that NDVO will process your application positively. Don't worry.

How, did you send the letter? Did you mention the application number? I hope you did.

It was honestly a mistake from myself as I had one UK refusal which I already mentioned when I first submitted the application to CIC mississauga. I hope everything goes smooth and CIC don't take it as misrepresentation as it was never done intentionally by me as if I can disclose other country refusal I would never hide Canadian study visa refusal.
