I think he can maintain his minimum stay of 2 years in Canada in every 5-year period, in order to keep the Canadian PR status, and still does not have to be hopeless about Australia. Australia has the RRV option which is Resident Return Visa.
Hey just wanted to check what happened on the situation of holding two PR? For example you got Austtralia PR and have visa stamped on ur PP and ur Canada PR is under process, when the canada PR came up were u able to get canada visa stamped although u already had Australia PR?

Australian PR is not stamped on passport. It is an electronic one. One can hold more than one PR at a time. Maintaining PR status is a different issue.
I've seen people having 3 passports. I think 2 PRs won't make a difference as the person will actually be an Indian citizen as long as he/she holds 1 passport. PR card is not a citizenship
Hey Guys, Can some please enlighten me in following situation (future situation).
I am Indian National, holding PR for Australia and applied to Canada PR as well (AOR Stage as of today).
My question is, I may get Aussie citizenship in Dec 2020 and I'm expecting my Canada PR in June 2019. Under both of these assumption, my both PR are against my Indian Passport. Now, when I get Australian citizenship in Dec 2020 before I move to Canada for good, I have following questions.
Can I update CIC regarding this movement (From Indian national to Australian National as a Citizen) ?
What happen to my Canada PR on my Indian Passport ?
Can IRCC update my PR detail under new passport (with new Country other than India) ?
I know it's quite complex situation but I'm sure many might have dealth with it.
