Can a Canadian citizen cross the land border with his spouse from USA to Canada (Spouse has no green card or US citizenship).

Would add that asylum claims in general have many consequences. If you apply for asylum it makes it very difficult for family to travel to see you. There will be concerns that they will also claim asylum. Asylum is really the last option people should consider if they other options.

Applying for asylum has longterm pretty severe implications and it doesn't sound like she is a true asylum seeker. Is she fearing for her life?
