Can a 18 years (UK CITIZEN) old move to Canada from UK to live there, work there

Hello
Can a 18 years old (UK CITIZEN) move to canada from uk to study there and work there?
I do have family members in canada and they are all canadian citizens
Family members they want me to go to canada as a international student, and they also told me that if i stay there for longer i can get a canada citizenship but personally i have no interest in canadian citizenship since i am already a Uk citizen.
They told me i move to canada permentaly i will not be allowed to work there is this true????

You can do either, work or study but not both and its very unlikely anyone is going to hire you as an 18 year old so your only real option is a study permit.

Why would you want to go to Canada to study as it would be more expensive than studying in the UK?
Also, the strong family ties to Canada might be a red flag to immigration officers. You would have to convince them that you would return after your studies are finished.
