Call Center

I have seen alot of posts people saying they couldn't call the call center because they were outside of Canada... until yesterday I had never tried to call but everyone was talking bout the automated system so I figured I'd give the automated system a shot, we have vonage and guess what even tho we are inside Canada with a Canadian number we can't call the 800 #. anyways I found a number that will get you to CIC you will hafta pay for the call yourself but if you guys are like me the wait is finally driving me crazy LOL. so the number is 613-944-4000 press 1 for english 2 for french then 2 for immigration.... I used my CI from my visitor record it told me nothing bout my PR app but did tell me I was in legal status until Dec 19th 2012 so I am assuming this will also be my UCI once we get aprroval. Anyways GL everyone and I hope this number is useful to those who need it!

The 613 number used to work from outside of Canada, but now it doesn't. Would still work within Canada. I can't understand why there is no way of contacting them!

the number now doesnt work. it just says your call cannot be completed due to you are not in area. something like that

What's the point of having a call center if you can never call it and the numbers only work if you live within 10K (haha) of the call center office????
