Hello,

I have mostly been working full time in one job with correct noc code (over 30 hours per week). From June 2016 to current. However, there was the occassional week, perhaps 4 or 5 in total where my hours fell between 25-28 hours due to slow winter periods.

Am I still elligible to apply for CEC?

How do I calculate my hours?

most pay-stubs have the number of hours worked in a period. you can check all your pay-stubs and calculate how many hours you have worked.

You need 52 weeks of full time experience.

For any weeks where you worked 30 hours or more - count each of them as 1 week.

For any weeks where you worked less than 30 hours, add up the number of hours worked and divide by 30.

If you add the two above numbers together and get at least 52 - then you can apply.

What scylla said. Since you've already worked an extra month, you should qualify easily.

Hello Everyone,

I was working with one company from Sept 2016 to July 2017 for full time and I was getting paid bi-weekly. I got ROE from Service Canada and It shows 38 weeks more than 30 hours and 3 weeks less than 30 hours. I got the new job from the following week. Here also the pay system is same. So I got 4 weeks more than 30 hours and one less than 30 hours. When am I supposed to be eligible for CEC category in Express Entry? If I just count hours than for now I have completed 1350 hours as 30 hours/week in total with both jobs up to date. And as I see date wise, I am completing a year on September 18 with full time work. When should I submit my express entry profile?
