British Fiance and son

I have been in a long distance relationship with a British subject for almost three years, we have met in Europe in the Summer and the Caribbean in the winters. He just came to Canada for the first time and proposed. He went back to London yesterday and planning to come back and spend the Summer here.

We talked about getting married in the fall with the scenic red leafs

He is financially stable and can stay here for a period of time without the job worry.... The big concern is... Would his 12 year old son be able to attend school in September?

That really depends on the school board where you live, and even the principals of individual schools. We have had forum members report that the Canadian part of the couple just went to the school to ask if the child could attend. If the answer was no, or yes, but they would have to pay international school fees, they would just go to another school and ask. Usually they found one where the answer was yes.
