I am interested in the BC Regional Entrepreneur Pilot but something seems quite unclear to me. One of the requirements is to identify a community among those, approved. Each community lists what is called "Priority Sectors". It is clear what this refers to but I like to ask anyone who knows whether the business proposal and a future business must necessary match with one of those priority sectors or would communities also consider other business ideas? I could not find any answer to this question. The deliberate word choice "Priority" suggests that those are each community's preferred sectors they look to sponsor entrepreneurs in but that it may not be an absolute must. Before contacting my most preferred community I wanted to check here whether anyone knows.
