Hi I am an international student who just moved in to canada a month ago. The issue is I applied for my visa some 6 months ago as single. The visa delayed that I had to defer my program and some four months after I got married and the visa came out some months after so I travelled to Canada leaving my spouse back in my home country. I have a study permit which permits me work on and off campus. My worry now is can I apply for an open work permit for my wife that I applied as not married? What are the possibilities of me bringing her to Canada?

If I understand your situation correctly, you committed misrepresentation by not informing IRCC about your marriage when your study permit was still being processed, right?
