Hello,
I am arriving in Canada on August 31st. I have set up a Scotia start right account and will be sending all of my money across at the end of July. However, will need to send my/my partners final pay across on August 28th. As I can only wire transfer money once, and can't leave wire transferring my money until August 28th as it takes 10 business days to process; what can I do with my final pay?
Should I just get it out as cash?
Oh, I'll be bringing more than 10,000. I'll be wire transferring it to my new to Canada soctia bank account. And then I get paid on August 28th and as I leave the uk on August 31st I'm unsure what to do with my final pay. Either leave it in my uk account and send it across later if that's possible, or get it out as cash?

It is pretty simple to wire transfer money from a UK bank account to a Canadian bank account people from UK do this all the time from Canada via their online UK banking. Sure there is a charge for doing so but guess depends how comfortable you are carrying cash and also whether you plan to close off your UK banking straight away if no intention of going to UK in near future.
