Hi, I just want to know, if we can mention a Gold bar (e.g. 100grams) in accompanied goods list or Goods to follow list, The reason to bring the Gold bar will be to have it as a contingency reserve alternative fund. So we can sell it if such an emergency need arrives few years down the line.
I don't want to sell the Gold before moving, instead want to keep it because its value appreciates with time.
Bhai, I am not certain but i think you can take gold, 100 grams shouldn't be a problem but i heard you have to take a photograph of the gold items to give at the airport. A bit weird, but that's what i read.

Hi humsafar
If you want to bring Gold bar with accompanied goods or goods to follow, you need to mention on goods list with weight (100 gram) and value in Canadian dollar. A photograph should be taken, if there is any number or trade marks on bar should be recorded on goods list.
Hope it helps,
